About Roberta Tunnell, LCSW

Roberta Tunnell earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California.  She is a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of experience providing both group and individual therapy in hospital-based outpatient programs.  She is experienced in working with diverse populations and a variety of issues including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, trauma, self-esteem challenges, social skills development needs, depression, and grief and loss.  Roberta  believes in providing trauma-informed care and working collaboratively with clients using a diverse range of evidence-based treatments.  She enjoys helping clients to process their experiences and develop the best skill set for them to modify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and build on their strengths so that they may feel a greater sense of satisfaction with their lives.
