About Janice Beverly Cahambing, PMHNP

Janice Beverly Cahambing, PMHNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner providing compassionate care to patients at Ocean Psychiatry in Fremont, California. 

To pursue her advanced studies in nursing, Janice moved across the world to the United States many years ago. Now, she has experience in various clinical settings, including inpatient trauma medical centers, psychiatric hospitals, short and long-term rehabilitation centers in various adult and geriatric settings, and primary/urgent care telemedicine. 

Janice has a strong passion for psychiatry and believes there is a powerful connection between the body and the mind for equal human balance to maintain a healthy and absolute quality of life. She is committed to partnering with her patients in shared decision-making and developing a treatment plan to optimize mental health. 

She has a particular interest in treating anxiety, depression, insomnia, and mood disorders. Janice is also dedicated to facing the challenge of removing the stigma around mental health in the United States and worldwide.

She is fluent in both English and Tagalog. Janice accepts the following health plans: United Healthcare, Sutter Health, Cigna, Aetna, MHN, Alignment, and Medicare.
