Brittany Meier, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She brings over six years of experience working in the mental health field to the Ocean Psychiatry team in Fremont, California.
Brittany graduated from the University of Phoenix, earning a master's degree in counseling with an emphasis on marriage, family, and child therapy.
During her time as a mental health therapist, Brittany has provided therapeutic services in various settings, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, school-based, community-based, and home-based settings.
Brittany has supported individuals struggling with various stressors and mental health needs such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, mania, and psychosis. She is skilled in helping patients learn techniques for managing stress, engaging in safety planning, providing crisis support services, and linking individuals to a higher level of care when needed to support them in maintaining their safety.
In addition to providing treatment to individuals, Brittany also has experience fostering these therapeutic supports with adolescents and adults in group settings.
Brittany’s clinical approach is to take the necessary time to build a strong therapeutic relationship with the individuals she has the opportunity to work with and support them in building a treatment plan that will help them achieve their desired outcomes and improve their overall well-being.
