Amanda Wilbur, ACSW, is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who enjoys facilitating therapy with both individuals and couples. She is a late-life career changer who went back to school to obtain a second master’s degree (this time in Social Work from Loma Linda University) because she wanted to help people in a Person-to-Person manner after working in Information Technology as a Project Manager for two decades. She has had additional training in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) which functions in the domains of developmental neuroscience, arousal regulation, and attachment theory.
Her noted specialty areas are Complex trauma, Somatic experience, and Psychobiological approaches to therapy. Amanda is also certified in Safe Conversations, Anger Management, SMART Recovery, Postpartum Support, Mental Health First Aid, and a number of national instructor training through the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Our once 3-year Board President of NAMI enjoys the following hobbies: hiking, kayaking, camping, reading & journaling.
